The Leg Curl Machine Plate Loaded is designed to reduce joint stress and provide minimal stress on alternate muscles. Hamstring motions are trained using a unique machine that allows specific user alignment by encouraging the kneecap to barely touch the thigh during set up. The upper leg pad follows the lower leg through the movement rather than resting on the thighs (as with most Seated Leg Curl machines). This allows you to “lock” yourself solidly in to the machine and concentrate on the hamstrings.
